PocketMadeira is a free informational guide to Madeira, operated by IPNOVA SYSTEMS LTD, a software company registered in Cyprus and founded by a Madeiran. You are welcome to use it for planning personal travel. Automated scraping of the site is not permitted; if you need our data in bulk, write to [email protected] and we will usually just help you.

We work hard to keep information correct: data is refreshed from open sources and verified in person by our local team, and verified pages show when and by whom. Even so, opening hours change, beaches close, and businesses move. Always confirm critical details (especially opening times and fees) with the place itself before travelling any distance. Information here is provided as is, without warranty.

Underlying place data includes information from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map tiles by CARTO. Weather and sea data by Open-Meteo. Some descriptive texts are adapted from Wikipedia and Wikivoyage, and place photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, all under their free licenses (CC BY-SA and similar); adaptations of that material are shared under the same terms. Structured facts (construction dates, dimensions, heritage status) come from Wikidata (CC0). Official walking-trail status reflects the IFCN classified-trail register, via the Madeira Tourism Board.
