Fonte da Areia Islet is a Portuguese islet located north of Porto Santo Island, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, more than one and a half kilometers away. The highest point measures 79 meters. It is a rocky islet, with an area of 3.1 hectares, covered by shrubs and coastal flora of Macaronesia, which is why it is protected by the PDM, the Natura 2000 Network, and is also an integral part of the Madeira Natural Park.
